Avoid a stress-inducing fabric burn moments before leaving for a special event. Always use a lower heat setting when ironing traditional clothes and gowns comprised of finer fabrics. You can always turn the heat up, but it's often too late before you realize you should have used less heat. 5. Before going on a trip, spend some time 'pre-creating' outfits. You'll be surprised at the stylish looks you'll create by reusing pieces in creative ways, and you'll avoid overpacking!
